We prepared a set-up for firefly breeding today.
The set up which we have prepared using two-sided tapes, a tub which contains soil on 1/3 part and 2/3 part is water. It is covered with a net type cloth from above so that they can fly.
A dark corner of the house is selected so that there is minimum light pollution.
For now our main objective is breeding of fireflies. After we will master how to breed fireflies that is setting up proper food for larva and proper conditions for egg laying we will carry on with our long term objectives.
